Yes, we ship to Canada!
But there are import taxes for Canada and here is an example we did for another customer.
When you choose your country in the drop-down menu at the top, the shipping costs will be calculated in the cart. Please note this is our export prices and local customs/tax may occur. We recommend checking this with your local government. We trade in USD on our website www.arendalsound.com
We use DHL Express for shipments to Canada and they will charge you a processing fee.
Here is info from DHL:
Based on official source for Canadian Customs Services in case of DAP/ DTU terms it will be applied additionally a Processing Fee - A service charge to any import of a non-document shipment for which DHL advances to Customs any duties, charge or taxes and then rebills the receiver.
Processing fee is 11.25 CAD or 2.5% of value of duties & taxes, if higher and applies per shipment.
DHL Customs Brokerage in Canada must have a signed Canadian Power of Attorney authorization and Registered Business Number on file.
B2C shipments (non-commercial/ casual/ personal) does not require POA nor Business Number (BN) for this type of shipments entering Canada.
In case of Receiver in CA would like that clearance process would be done by nominated Broker it will be applied Broker Notification fee – 15,00 CAD per shipment.
Depending on where you live in Canada you will be charged HST or GST, more info on this webpage.
So if we have understood this correct, an example with HST here:
Our export price for a pair of 1723 Tower is USD 3499 + Shipping USD 204
Then DHL will collect 15% HST (3499 x15%=USD 525) + 2,5% of this value = 13,12 CAD (or minimum 11,25 CAD)
In total 3499 USD + 204 USD + 525 USD + 13,12 CAD
