A Respectful Alternative
There is no shame in placing a speaker on top of a subwoofer. In fact, when crossed over correctly, this will make your speaker/sub sound like one large tower speaker!
Acoustically inert subwoofers, such as our dual driver 1723 Subwoofer 2S and 2V, are a bonus because the enclosure does not vibrate. Still, it is best to put a thin material like rubber under the speaker in case it gets bumped.
